The Funnel Hide

We designed this hide to enable photographers the opportunity to photograph hares at a low angle without needing to lay down. It’s a very compact hide designed for only one photographer at a time The hide runs year round but there is times of the year that will be more productive than other times - most notably during the very early spring when the hares are thinking about mating and chasing one another around and boxing.

During the summer sessions in this hide will be split into AM/PM sessions

During the winter the hide will run as full days only.

This hide is not one of our usual situations where by we are using food to directly attract the wildlife to the hide. This is a completely natural situation whereby you are a spectator to nature. The hares will do as they please and can appear from anywhere. We like to hope you’ll get at least one close encounter during your session but unfortunately we cannot guarantee this.
